Fast Talker says 3 little pigs in 13 seconds!

Fran Capo holds the world record for being the fastest talking woman. In a recent CNN appearance she said “3 Little Pigs” in 13 seconds. Its just amazing to see her go and its funny the way she holds her hands, it as if her hands are maintaining her speed and concentration. Either way, its just an interesting video.
A typo could cost you millions, literally!

Sabrina Walker was a 37 year old school counselor who accidentally received a check for $2.5 million and instead of informing the Department of Human Services, who was responsible for sending out the check, she began to spend the money on everything from cars, to jewelry to electronics. She was charged with theft by swindle and concealing the proceeds of a crime and is held in jail in lieu of a $200,000 bail. The check was actually meant to be for the Hennepin County Medical Center which was mistakingly sent to Walker. Walker was in the State system due to an $84 pay that she received for being a court witness. The money Walker received wasnt well spent. According to MSNBC the money was generously spent:
Walker, along with a man she lived with, allegedly bought a $500,000 certificate of deposit, funded two retirement accounts, bought a $500,000 Treasury bond, spent $5,500 on jewelry, $3,817 at Best Buy and $2,069 on limousine services, according to the criminal complaint.
Walker also allegedly bought two cars, called the state to report the check, then bought two more cars, prosecutors said.
Obviously, Walker is placed on leave from the school counseling job and the state agency wishes to improve manual payment methods to avoid such mistakes in the future. Additionally, Walkers bank accounts have been frozen to prevent further use of state money. I think its a little disturbing to find out such mistakes happen and although usually these mistakes come out in time, there may have been instances where things like this might have gone unnoticed. Its a little disappointing but then again, I would have thought that the state agencies would actually have computerized databases through which payments were sent out as needed to the respective individuals or organizations. Either way, this issue coming into the public vision is an eye opener and hopefully should help in keeping a closer eye on the manual payment distribution methods.
Auto Advertising with Transformers Concept

With the new Transformers movie scheduled for release on July 4th of this year, it seems like Auto companies are trying to bank on the concept. Although, its not clear whether they are trying to create a direct relation between the movie and their car, it certainly does seem like it from the Ads. I came across two ads that seemed pretty cool in the sense that the car “transforms”. The first is a Citroen C4 which features a transformer that is skating! Yes, thats true, it almost seems like figure skating to me. The second is actually a better commercial which is done by Nissan. Well these commercials aren’t on TV in the US but I believe these are both from Europe but maybe more of these types of advertisements will come around once the movie release date nears. Enjoy these!
After posting this, I actually came across another Citroen C4 advertisement that shows the transformed car busting out some sweet moves. Check this out, I’m sure you wont believe your eyes!
Making Money Online with Jay

Most of you would tag the words “Making Money Online” with JC but this time around Im going to tag it to Online Opportunity. Online Opportunity is a blog about how to make money online. Like my blog itself, Jay’s blog is pretty new but unlike other blogs it seems like this blog is here for a while. He makes consistent posts and is pretty open about his opinion – remember, your opinion is what makes your blog different from others. Anyway, Online Opportunity is a place where you can go to get your daily updates regarding how to be more successful online or if you’re a startup, Jay will actually show you ways to start monetizing your blog. I am following some of his tips too – such as the ones about Adsense, advertising and networking.
His most recent article about how Google Dissed John Chow analyzes the change in Google’s Algorithm. Now you might be thinking, why I’m even going through the trouble to review a new website that has probably seen as much success as I have? Well, since we both are startups I think its good to show support because that way it will end up helping us both in the future. And to refrain from lying, the opportunity of the $100 would be a great boost for this website and would actually help me extend the hosting for this website since my earnings haven’t been where i had expected. I actually came across one of the most interesting articles I read on his website, its about Monetizing, now for those of you who really dont know then it might be good to check it out. Obviously, my earnings through my website show that I really don’t know what monetize means – its true, I’m playing with pennies! – and to be honest, I’m happy because this is what I like doing!
Whats also great about his website is that Jay does a lot of insightful writing about other websites such as Adsense, Marketing Pond and so you get an idea of a money making scheme before you get into it full force. This makes it very helpful because it actually saves your investment in that scheme – whether it is monetary investment or time consumption. I have been on ReviewMe for about 2 weeks now and recently FlickLife.com requested me to review their website. According to the description, this seemed like a modified version of Youtube however, to my surprise this is actually a very interesting concept. In basic terms, FlickLife allows you to take any video and add 3 links of your choice to the videos. It also allows you to make those links advertisements and collect a 100% of the revenue, without having to pay FlickLife any fees. It even lets you add a custom logo watermark to the videos and doesn’t require you to host the video yourself. So if you don’t have a website FlickLife will still work for you. On the main page there are several videos to view and actually this might be a good concept in case you need to upload some of your own videos. In my previous posts, I have uploaded some videos to Youtube with a text header stating my url but FlickLife will allow me to embed my link into the video as text so when you click on it, it will actually load my website. Basically the linking in the video will allow you to increase your earnings if you use affiliate links. On the other side, if you link it to your website then it will bring you more traffic and is a great way to promote your website. Also since FlickLife is just starting up, its a good way to get noticed by a different crowd aside from Youtube Viewers. Once your video is added, it shows up on the front page unlike Youtube so you get instant attention. Its a really cool concept and for those who do a “Vlog” this might be something to look into.
