Guest Post
In my last post I had mentioned a connection I have with BlogDuck and finally its time to tell you what it is. I am now officially a guest author for Blog Duck and you can see my first post for them called “Its All About Branding!”. Brian Aldrich from The Prize Blog approached me about 10 days ago to see if I was interested and I gladly accepted. Everyone knows that I have a tough schedule with school but you will see me post there periodically. So, go check out the post and tell me what you think about it!

Alexa Taking A Dip
On Friday I noticed something interesting that was going on with Alexa. I looked it up today and it seems to have been corrected but for the past two days it seemed that every site was seeing a huge dip in Alexa. If you go there today, you won’t be seeing it anymore but I took lots of screenshots of different blog sites to show you this interesting dip.

   
      

The funny thing is that for 3 days (thursday, friday and saturday) the alexa graph for all the sites was sloping downhill for no apparent reason. What I have noticed is that Alexa usually shows you your traffic stats for a day earlier so if you got an article stumbled then those effects won’t show till the next day. At first I was a little worried seeing this trend but I noticed it for everyone. I wonder what caused this as I don’t think that any other people have noticed this happening. I just thought it would be interesting to post about!
