I Lost My $130,000 Phone! Can You Find It?

June 20th, 2008 | 4 Comments | Posted in Entertainment, Technology
Nokia $130,000 Phone

I think that If I had lost my phone worth $130,000 I would go crazy. Well, it seems as though if you have the €85,000 ($131,000) price tag to pay for the Nokia’s 8800 Arte Pink then you arent worried about money. For the price you get a gold coated handset with 680 white and pink diamonds designed by none other than Peter Aloisson.

Sadly enough, if $4 per gallon of gasoline seems like a pinch to you, it would be hard to imagine how you’d feel if one of these diamonds were to fall out? Regardless of the showy exterior, this Arte Pink phone still has the same specifications as a standard Nokia 8800. Why would you spend that much? Go figure!

Kontera to InfoLinks Transition!

June 19th, 2008 | 3 Comments | Posted in Blog, Make Money Online, Other Reviews

I dont know if many of you have noticed but the blog doesnt have Kontera anymore. Sadly, Kontera was not performing as well and I have kept thinking to myself that it may be time for me to get rid of it once and for all. This morning I got an email from Noa over at InfoLinks and he informed me about their in-text advertising program.

The whole idea with InfoLinks is that its exactly like Kontera, only better. They offer a higher payout rate than Kontera which has been a big disappointment for many Kontera users. Furthermore, they make payments with Paypal as well which is something that Kontera has not been able to offer. I actually liked Kontera’s quick integration aside from the fact that its payouts were not that great. Over the course of 1 year, Kontera has barely scraped up $35 which is not a great amount considering the total page views that this blog has received.

The integration at infolinks is the same as Kontera so it only took me literally 5 minutes to go through and swap out Kontera to InfoLinks. The idea is that they are promising 80% revenue sharing and that means better payouts. I am actually positive about InfoLinks and based on the results achieved with Kontera, I am willing to try out InfoLinks to see how well they perform. I will update you on a weekly basis and give you a comparison as to how InfoLinks is performing against Kontera.

I have to wonder though, were any one of you contacted and what do you think about the in-text ads so far?

Blogging Is Like Golf!

June 17th, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Blog, Make Money Online
WildCats

So the picture above is from my golf game recently at the Wild Cats Golf course here in Houston. It was a great day and while playing I realized that golf is like blogging and I made a short list in my head about how the two are alike.

1) Patience is Key – Golf is not a game to be played in a hurry as you always have to line up your shots and so forth. In Blogging, its the same thing. You cannot expect to be successful overnight as it takes time and hard work to finally achieve success. You need to realize that Making Money Online isnt the same as Making QUICK Money Online. Success and Money will come with time. So, be patient!

2) Practice Your Swing – Just as you practice your swing in golf before teeing off, you need to experiment as a blogger. You need to keep coming up with ideas to try out and set yourself apart from the rest of the bloggers in your niche. Thats the only way to gain an audience and succeed.

3) Plan Ahead - As you might expect, when you golf you need to plan your shots ahead of time. In Blogging, it works in a similar manner in that you need to get a head start on things and make sure you plan your posts, your contests, etc ahead of time so that you have everything down right.

4) Aim for the Hole – Just as you aim for the hole in golf, you aim for success in Blogging. I believe that in life you don’t achieve anything if you lose your motivation or set your goals such that they are not hard to achieve. You need to set your goals high and do the best that you can to achieve that goal.

Well, hopefully this post was interesting. I surely had a great time golfing this morning but hopefully this post was interesting to you guys. Let me know what you think about it. Happy Mid-Week everyone!

Market Leverage Is Where Its At!

June 16th, 2008 | 6 Comments | Posted in Blog, Make Money Online, Other Reviews

I know that many of you have seen the promotions Market Leverage is having around the blogosphere and you will see me mention a few of those later but basically Market Leverage has been awesome so far. I was contacted by Dina a while ago regarding advertising on the blog and they purchased 2 blocks on the right of the blog. They offer the industry’s best referral system where you earn 5% of your referees earnings for life! Yes, thats right, FOR LIFE!

I was actually drawn to the fact that Market Leverage does quite a bit of amazing marketing. They are hosting these great contests with amazing prizes, sending care package to some of their affiliates regardless of the cost of shipping and frankly, are buying Ad Spots on some really awesome blogs, like this one!

I signed up for Market Leverage by submitting my application which you can do so by going here! Soon after I got a call by Erick and since I was unable to answer I got a call from Steve the next day who went through and approved my application. Everyone that has contacted me has been amazing in getting me started and their customer satisfaction policy must be amazing because they’re really doing an amazing job.

I also wanted to call attention to Debby Phillips, who writes on the blog www.DebbyBanning.com and she was featured on my Top Female Blogger list (which is going to be revamped, by the way!). I spoke to her yesterday as well and just like everyone else I’ve spoken with, Debby was very helpful and open to conversation. Its really a great affiliate company to work with specially with their current offers.

If youre looking to move forward and get into Affiliate Marketing or you want to add to your monthly income stream then definitely check out Market Leverage and let me know your thoughts. I know that many of you have seen them in contests lately so I’m going to include that information in there also. Have a great week and Happy Monday!

Update: I was just informed by Debby about the Market Leverage Forum so if you are a member or are not a member yet but have a few questions then you could head on over to the forum to get your doubts clarified! Its a very well set up forum with a thread for any type of questions that you may have. Its another great way for Market Leverage to help out its customers and prospective customers!

Contests

John Chow’s ML Contest – Obviously, John Chow has a bag of goodies to give away and many of you know that the same bags have been sent to other bloggers too. These goodies include anywhere from an Ipod, to a Flip Video camera to a cool 2GB USB Pen. So Definitely John Chow’s contest will be one to watch out for!

CDF Networks
– CDF Networks is also hosting the Market Leverage contest and so I wanted to send them some link love too!

Nick Throlson’s ML Contest – Nick Throlson also has a bag of goodies that he would like to get off of his hands so check out that contest too!

Syed Balkhi’s Contest – Syed is also hosting another one of these great contests and I really enjoy his blog so linkage for him too!

Gary Conn’s Contest – Gary Conn is also giving away a Market Leverage bag of goodies! Definitely a great contest to check out.

Jonathan Volk’s Contest – Jonathan Volk is also having one of these giveaways so if you want to increase your chances at winning, then check it out!

Some others that are having contests include – Zac Johnson, Ian Fernando, Tyler Cruz and some others. I have to make a disclaimer that I don’t get points in the contest for quite a few of these links but I just wanted to put it out there to help Market Leverage get as much publicity as they can. So Good Luck!!

So I ran into a FOR MART the other day which I have to remind you is not affiliated with the highly commercialized and popular WAL MART. I just thought this was not so much of a good fake!
