I think there is a bit of a trade-off, on one hand you wouldn't have to worry about a regular job or other similar and related responsibilities as well as being able to take any time you would normally spend at a job and use it to work on your blogging. At the same time, however, there would be more stress and pressure because now your site HAS to succeed and you NEED to perform all the duties that blogging requires.

Being a famous blogger sounds like a glamorous way to live, on the surface. You get to stay home, go on vacation, network. It sounds quite easy. As you pointed out, however, there is a lot of work involved. It takes great effort to arrive at the caliber of those famous bloggers. Content has to be top-notch, presentations have to be prepared, and campaigns are constantly monitored. The money for a famous blogger is nice, and I'm sure most bloggers would agree that they love what they do, but there is more work to it then most probably realize. Great post, Enkay!

Good post man! I don't know, I think, it depends if you plan to follow the pattern other bloggers have set, or your own. If it's your own, then you'll be fine. I wouldn't pressure myself to post multiple times a day if I didn't want to.

I think it could easily turn into a full time job, and require more work than expected. You have to have an idea of your lifestyle design, and make everything else fit that, otherwise you'll find yourself with less time than you thought you'd get from being a "pro blogger".

I'm not looking to go from full time to full time lol, even though I may be "full time" in IM/Blogging, I don't want to be putting in 8-10 hours doing it lol.
