Using Images To Enhance Experience!

A lot of people stay away from adding images into their blog posts but I vote YES for images mainly because they add a lot more to the blog than just colors. An image can help explain your post in one glance and can be very useful in helping you get a point across. I have been known to include a lot of images in my posts and lately I have slowed down on it but its time to kick it up another notch.
As many of you are familiar, Prija probably has the most unique diagrams that he creates and to explain how The Wall Of Blogs works, I’ve decided to follow his lead and create my own diagram to explain how things will work.If you have had the chance to visit The Wall, you will see that the “Second Level” not has text on the back that helps explain how the wall works. In addition, I figured I would add a diagram here to show the way the wall would work.
The diagram explains how the level system will work. Initially I hadn’t planned on keeping everything stagnant and having one large wall but I decided that I would have levels and that way I would be able to provide all the sponsors with equal front page time. I appreciate and thank everyone who is part of the wall and I would really appreciate it if you could blog about the wall. Basically, a plug from JohnChow (Come on John Chow! Help a fellow blogger out!) would push this wall to the next level.
As of now, each level has 32 spots and the first level is almost completely sold out with only 1 spot remaining. After that, the second level will be ready to accommodate the newer sponsors. If you understand the idea of rotation you will realize that if you buy a block on Level 2 and when it rotates to the top of the page, that will be some real good virtual real estate. Also the current plan is to have 640 spots and give away $1000 total. If more spots could be sold later, then I will make it 1000 spots and give away another $500 bringing the total to $1500 total but that depends on how many spots sell. Either way, I want to thank everyone for their support and I will be trying to bring as much attention to the wall as possible in the coming weeks! Thanks again

There are still 14 spots remaining on the top fold and as mentioned earlier, I have reduced the number of blocks to 640 mainly to make sure that the wall isn’t too long. This does cut on my part of the income but that truly doesn’t matter as long as my advertisers get their money’s worth. Doing this has also increased your chances of winning the $1000 that I will be giving away once the spots are filled.
What I will be doing is breaking down the 640 blocks into levels and those levels will be sequentially rotated on a daily basis meaning that EVERYONE will have the opportunity to be in the top fold several times a month. Also, this question was raised several times and I wanted to let you guys know that the ad block you purchase is there for LIFE. The wall will remain up forever and the domain is on auto-renew so do not worry about that. $5 for a 125×125 ad block for Life is a pretty great deal in my eyes but its all up to you when you want to get in on it.

This is the official release of TheWallOfBlogs.com that I had talked about before. There was a pre-release for a selected few individuals who comment on the website and have been a great help to me and since this is a time stamped post, I don’t know how many have sold but I am sure that these will knock out pretty quick. As you all know, you can purchase a 125×125 Adblock for only $5. There is no limit to how many you purchase, so if you find 4 that are together, you can make it a big square and purchase a 250×250 square. The price of the adblock will always be at $5 and the fact that the adblocks are bigger than most other sites like this one, it makes them easily noticeable no matter where it is located.

125×125 Ad For Only $5? & A Car Contest!

Well, I have been a little busy lately working on a new concept to help me try and increase my rankings and I have figured that the best way to do so is to give away cash and prizes but without any money to begin with this would be a difficult feat.
So to help with that I will offer 1000 advertising spots on a page called the “Wall of Blogs” which will have a thousand 125×125 ad spots that you can purchase for only $5 each. If you do the math, thats about $5000 in total minus all the Paypal processing fees and such but what that will allow me to do is give away either one big prize of $500 and 5 small prizes of a 100 each OR two big prizes of $500 each. This will be cash paid to whoever wins the final contest.
I have decided to keep the price of the ad spot slow mainly because that will allow a lot more people to buy them. The ad spot is also much larger than most considering it is a full 125×125 ad spot. Hopefully this will be incentive enough for those willing to sign up! Below is a screen shot of how it will look.
The domain name has already been purchased and will fall into effect soon and when it does, I will be blogging about it to let you know. The cool thing about the ad spot is that it will be there forever and it provides a permanent link back to a URL of your choice! Also, you can buy as many as you want. The main idea will be to get as many people to sign on as possible. I will try to fill all the 1000 ad spots as soon as possible so that the winner can be drawn. I really wish I could estimate how long it would take to fill the spots but hopefully with a little exposure with the help of my blogging friends, this could certainly be possible.
