So, I’m sure you’ve seen people talk about the book Blog Blazers by Stephane Grenier lately but I wanted to tell you guys about this book. I was contacted by Stephane himself and he wanted to send me a copy to read and review and I liked the concept so I asked him to send me a copy. A few days later, I received it and I had kept it aside because I was taking finals and so I had to focus on that. I apologize to Stephane for writing this so late but I mean, it was worth the wait.

First off, for those of you who don’t know who Stephane Grenier is, let me tell you that he knows what he is talking about. He is the founder and CEO of Landlord Max Software, Inc. and he owns and operates several blogs. He speaks at the Website Promotion and Traffic Generation seminar and he is well-known for authoring his past ebook, How to Generate Traffic to Your Website. He has done a phenomenal job with this book and maybe having me tell you about it, will make you want to go and get the book.

The book itself is very interesting. The concept is highly interesting and basically Stephane has painstakingly interviewed 40 highly influential bloggers and asked them questions such as what their most successful blog post was, how they make money from their blog and what are some of their favorite blogs. Now, you’d think that wow 40 bloggers, that must be quite disorganized. Well, Stephane solved that issue too. The book is HIGHLY organized. The questions are well placed and it was really easy to go through the index and look up a certain blogger so you can read more about their interview.

It was really great to hear from some of the bloggers that Stephane has interviewed. He also did a great job with the questions and asked questions that most of us would like to know the answers to, so that was really good too. Its an excellent book and I highly recommend it.

Now, you might wonder how much this book costs. Well its actually very affordable. You can either buy it from the Blog Blazers website or through Amazon. The price is $16.95 plus shipping, no matter where you get it from, which is a really good deal if you ask me. If you’d like more options then if you head over to the Blog Blazers website, you can actually buy the ebook version and save a tree for $12.95 or you could get the hard copy and the ebook for $20.95 which is a really good deal. So, if you don’t have the book yet, then go out and get it!

What Is It About?
First off, about 90% of the eBook content is written from scratch, so a lot of the content has been written specifically for the eBook and you won’t find it on my blog. It is 62 pages long and its a guide for all bloggers specially new bloggers. It helps you get started with blogging by picking out your options and then it provides you with tips about blogging, Alexa, Technorati as well as other topics such as Social Networking, Video Blogging and even Monetization. Its a very comprehensive guide to blogging and I really hope you like it.

Why Free?
Well, I figured that if people are unhappy with the book for some reason, then they can get their money back, which was zero to begin with. At least thats what one of the reasons was. The main reason why the book is free is so that I can help a charity.

I want everyone to read the book and once you’re done reading, and you like it, I want you to think what the amount would be that you would be willing to pay for this book and then I’d like you to donate that amount to the Save The Children Foundation. For those of you who don’t know what the organization does, I’ve created a small video below and have provided the narration for the video. I hope you can understand what this money can do for people who need it more than you and I do.

There are still 14 spots remaining on the top fold and as mentioned earlier, I have reduced the number of blocks to 640 mainly to make sure that the wall isn’t too long. This does cut on my part of the income but that truly doesn’t matter as long as my advertisers get their money’s worth. Doing this has also increased your chances of winning the $1000 that I will be giving away once the spots are filled.

Well, my last contest ended well but I wanted to increase the chances of winning for those people who may not have won anything in past blog contests. Blog Server Update
As many of you may have read in the earlier post, the blog is being transferred to a brand new server from my free one to boost performance and to eliminate the downtime that is experienced at times. The newer server is definitely much faster and once I have it all ready, I will be talking to my host and offer you guys a great hosting package at a great price! Hey everyone! I don’t know if many of you have heard about Pownce. I am a member of Pownce and you can add me here if you are a member too however, if you aren’t a member and you want an invite, then keep reading!

Pownce is a great way to network and when you find someone you know then you can add them to your networking. Doing so allows you to send messages, files, links and events to them. You can also share the stuff with just one, a few or all of them. Pownce is starting to pick up and I have seen several people on it. Currently its invitation only but Sam from SamBreadstone.com was kind enough to send me an invite. When I signed up, I was given 6 invites out of which one was given to a great new upcoming blogger who runs a blog called Adsense Track.

Well, I still have 5 invites remaining and I know that the cows at JohnCow were giving them away for comments, stumbles, diggs, etc but I have decided that all that won’t be necessary.
