Kontera to InfoLinks Transition!

I dont know if many of you have noticed but the blog doesnt have Kontera anymore. Sadly, Kontera was not performing as well and I have kept thinking to myself that it may be time for me to get rid of it once and for all. This morning I got an email from Noa over at InfoLinks and he informed me about their in-text advertising program.
The whole idea with InfoLinks is that its exactly like Kontera, only better. They offer a higher payout rate than Kontera which has been a big disappointment for many Kontera users. Furthermore, they make payments with Paypal as well which is something that Kontera has not been able to offer. I actually liked Kontera’s quick integration aside from the fact that its payouts were not that great. Over the course of 1 year, Kontera has barely scraped up $35 which is not a great amount considering the total page views that this blog has received.
The integration at infolinks is the same as Kontera so it only took me literally 5 minutes to go through and swap out Kontera to InfoLinks. The idea is that they are promising 80% revenue sharing and that means better payouts. I am actually positive about InfoLinks and based on the results achieved with Kontera, I am willing to try out InfoLinks to see how well they perform. I will update you on a weekly basis and give you a comparison as to how InfoLinks is performing against Kontera.
I have to wonder though, were any one of you contacted and what do you think about the in-text ads so far?
Market Leverage Is Where Its At!

I know that many of you have seen the promotions Market Leverage is having around the blogosphere and you will see me mention a few of those later but basically Market Leverage has been awesome so far. I was contacted by Dina a while ago regarding advertising on the blog and they purchased 2 blocks on the right of the blog. They offer the industry’s best referral system where you earn 5% of your referees earnings for life! Yes, thats right, FOR LIFE!
I was actually drawn to the fact that Market Leverage does quite a bit of amazing marketing. They are hosting these great contests with amazing prizes, sending care package to some of their affiliates regardless of the cost of shipping and frankly, are buying Ad Spots on some really awesome blogs, like this one!
I signed up for Market Leverage by submitting my application which you can do so by going here! Soon after I got a call by Erick and since I was unable to answer I got a call from Steve the next day who went through and approved my application. Everyone that has contacted me has been amazing in getting me started and their customer satisfaction policy must be amazing because they’re really doing an amazing job.
I also wanted to call attention to Debby Phillips, who writes on the blog www.DebbyBanning.com and she was featured on my Top Female Blogger list (which is going to be revamped, by the way!). I spoke to her yesterday as well and just like everyone else I’ve spoken with, Debby was very helpful and open to conversation. Update: I was just informed by Debby about the Market Leverage Forum so if you are a member or are not a member yet but have a few questions then you could head on over to the forum to get your doubts clarified! Its a very well set up forum with a thread for any type of questions that you may have. Its another great way for Market Leverage to help out its customers and prospective customers!

A Better ReviewMe?

I used to remember the days when ReviewMe could be easily manipulated by some bloggers but lately it seems that ReviewMe has gotten better at catching such bloggers. I recently had a small time zone glitch causing my posts to be delayed and ReviewMe sent me a notice asking me to rectify the problem. Although I wasn’t too happy about the notice, I appreciate them finally getting a little strict.
There were many times when bloggers were breaking the rules and still getting paid for the reviews. I also have to mention SponsoredReviews while I am here since I have received several counter offers on there but it seems as though SponsoredReviews has dug itself in a hole trying to make more money by allowing advertisers to make counter offers. I dont think it was that great of an idea as most of the counter offers are below $10 which may be an insult to some bloggers who have really high ratings.
Im a little surprised with the changes that have come about in the blogosphere in such a short period of time. I used to like SponsoredReviews and it seems like it is time up for SponsoredReviews. I do see a brighter future for ReviewMe as long as they are able to put out offers at the rate they are currently doing so. They are one of the more popular ones out there along with LoudLaunch and Smorty making an occasional appearance. Although Smorty and LoudLaunch are both dealing with not as many offers and low offer amounts, they still have a long way to develop. As for ReviewMe, I dont know if anyone else noticed that they have gotten more strict with bloggers meeting their guidelines. Which are some of your favorite pay-to-post websites out there?
New Online Community!

So theres Facebook, Myspace and even MyBlogLog for bloggers but now there is a new website called 3GB Communities where you can meet new friends, connect with old friends and share photo albums, join groups, create blogs and listen to music. The website has over 1000 members so far and seems to be picking up. The set up of the website in my opinion is a little odd but I am sure that they are in the beta or development phase so things will pick up soon enough. The design is nice and simple and I give them a thumbs up for that. The sign up process did not take but 5 minutes and the user interface is very easy to use and navigate. Each member has a profile similar to facebook where you can write messages and exchange notes. I think the concept may be old but 3GB is trying to put a new twist on it. I really wish them luck with the direction they plan on taking the website in. Although Facebook and MySpace are highly popular, 3GB may be an upcoming community that we will see more about in the future. If youre interested please join 3gb community www.3gb.biz
