Free Domains Are Not A Thing Of The Past
Everyone has thought about buying that new domain name to improve that business but what if someone comes up to you and tells you that its possible for you to get that domain name, specially for free. Believe it or not, a lot of hosting packages do offer free domains. A hosting package like mine comes with 2 free domains and theres quite a few others that you get a free domain if you buy a hosting package. Now, hosting packages dont have to be expensive and thats where alreadyhosting.com is stepping in to offer you your Free Domain Name.
Their domain name page lists hosts such as Bluehost, Hhost Monster, WebHostingPad. Not only are hosting companies listed but so is a list of their features such as unlimited domain hosting, free domain name, etc. Their prices are also listed and some start at as low as $1.99 a month with a free domain. The domain page also lists a review of the host as well as an overall rating which is quite a good feature.
The page also provides some basic info for new users – such as the difference between a domain and hosting and how you can get a free domain. Some websites lately charge about $10 for a domain. If you pay $2 per month for hosting, thats $24 a year – out of which $10 is for the domain. Your overall savings then, are about 30% which is quite tremendous. It doesn’t seem like much now, but when your hosting bills are in the $100′s and you host several domains, it does make a huge difference – it does so for me atleast.
Well, check out the link and give me your feedback on some of these hosts so that I can see if my readers use any of these services and what they think of them.

Domains are so cheap nowadays its really not worth your time to take some “deal with the devil” just in order to save $8. In my opinion, you’d be better off getting hosting that is right for you — and THEN paying $8 for your domain name. Never fall into that “packaged deal” trap!

thanks for the information. I’ve been looking around for a solid domain name. I’ve really been contemplating using domain name with a hyphen. I keep getting mixed feedback on this. The Woodlands Texas

This is actually how I got my domain. I signed up for a hosting package with 1and1 and was given a free domain.

Today, Internet is really short of good credible domains. I really don’t believe that you’ll be able to find a good domain (at least this works for business) for less that $500

I’m using godaddy hosting since mid 2009 when I first started building my own sites. I don’t have much problem with their hosting, could be because I’m not a heavy user that load lots of domains on the host or running any add on.
The only thing that put me off is the cpanel, there are time its so slow that it took me half a day just to do some maintenance on my three domains hosted there.
I’m looking for reviews on domain from users and thinking of moving.

But, there is always a catch inside with these kind of deals.

I didn’t realize you could get a domain for free. But do you have some sub title before the name you pick or what?

Is this really true? Domain for free? Actually we get our domain at godaddy and it’s also cheap… But I didn’t know that there is a free one… We will try this next time…
