I have never been able to come to a conclusion about this and I think I will not get a solution for sometime to come.

But the rate I'm going now is One post every two days, and it is becoming harder by the day too.

One a day would be amazing , butu I d rather post one every other day or maybe three a week. This will allow my reader to comment and interact on the post. Also will give me time to market the blog after every post

[...] How Many Posts Is Enough? This topic is something I haven’t discussed before and I know that recently there are only a few blogs that have had to come to terms with the idea of how many posts a day or per week was enough. A lot of the top bloggers that blog full-time write a few posts every day but most of us who have our blogs as more of a part-time job or hobby only post once a day and some of us even 3-4 times a week.
1 a day is a great pace, I don't really see more than one a day unless they are the smaller "update" style posts. I used to post once a day, and cut it back to about 4 times a week...with a good cliffhanger post to last through the weekend and stir up good discussion. It's seems to be okay for my readers, but that doesn't mean I won't ever post more....I just have the freedom.

Like I told you man, don't sacrifice your life, health, and other things just to post, if you're busy then you're busy that's just it lol.

But I agree, 1 a day is pretty good, at least during the weekday, I think readers are more forgiving if you don't post on the weekend.

2 smaller sized posts could be good as well. Maybe breaking a large post into parts, morning and evening may be cool.

I agree that 1 per day is a good rate, but I generally try to do 2 per day. Even though my goal is 2, I usually only end up with 1 and some days none....it's all about preference I guess.

I will say once a day should be enough. Many post's per day may be hard for your readers to keep up with.

P.S: I have sent you an email Enkay, not sure if you have received it?

Once a day is just about right... and time stamping will actually be your friend long term... this way if you have something in your head one day that you wanna blog about you get 2 posts that day because 1 is already in the bag.

one of the reasons i'm fond of andrew sullivan's blog, the daily dish, is because he makes multiple short posts throughout the day. this makes it really worth going back to.

i find that if a blogger posts less than twice a week, i don't really develop much of an attachment to that blog.

I think every blogger who want to be successful must write 1 post per day and it is better if sometime write 2 post per day.
