That is true. If there was an incentive to sponsor then maybe that would help bring in more sponsors. I think that some of the top models should also try to get private sponsorships by some photographers or modeling agencies to help them reach their goal faster. It may be a faster approach.

Yeah, I agree. Like Jim said its a risky investment and it all depends on how well the model does and how many contracts she signs. I would really like to see how this would work for a blogger that was being sponsored to do affiliate marketing. Might be some good returns

Thanks for the honest input Jim. You are right in terms of the investment factor that has a low chance of a good return but its all about risk really. Its like people investing in Starbucks (SBUX) even with them closing down 600 stores, reducing prices of certain drinks and displaying losses on the high priced lattes. I guess its all about how people decide to invest their money – whether its good or bad. But you bring up a good point. I think those who feel this will pick up should invest and if not then there are other forms of investment available also.

Agree with most what has been sad above but, on the other hand, being a sponsor on Beauty Holding is not just about making money, is it? Having looked at the website and its really fun design, I think they are looking for sponsors who are motivated by the fun of interaction with beautiful girls (maybe even meeting them) as well as the money-making instinct. It looks more like a fun game with some (albeit remote) chance of financial gain. Some may do it out of charitable considerations too! All in all, a great concept as it cuts out the middle-man in the area flooded with ‘middle-men’ (talent scouts, managers, agents etc), while helping someone raise funds to promote a career.

Haha, I’m all for a paid review… but I am going to act as a financial advisor here by recommending that everyone NOT throw money into an investment fund geared at modeling. This is the kind of capital investment planned doomed to fail, as there is an over-saturated modeling market that quite frankly, doesn’t even pay well.

Just have a look at lal the shows like America’s Next Top Model and the like that have thousands of people applying. You might hit the 1/1000 model that makes it profitable for you… but the downside is too severe here. Sorry

It does seem like an interesting concept, but it would probably be a pretty risky investment and I’m not so sure the returns would be all that good because the models aren’t going to be making huge bucks their first year it’s the 3rd 4th 5th and so on years when they make megacash.

I like this unique idea! But I have realized that the website does not push or motivate the sponsors in any way. Even I sponsor today or after few months, I gonna get the same stake. So why not to wait and see who is leading the race and invest in her towards the end. Getting it what I mean!

There could have been something that motivates sponsors to rush and that way models would be on board faster.
