1- Sign up with a reputed affiliate network e.g. Marketleverage. You can signup 1 or 2 more, but don’t keep registering to all those networks.. You are wasting your precious time.

2- Checkout what are the current hot offers. If there is no such list, ask your affiliate manager about that. Definitely he will help you in selecting the best offer. But remember, all those hot offers are not worth going for as already there is lot of competition. You can try some good offers which are not so popular.

3- Research for keywords. Indepth research is needed. There are lots of keyword tools out there – including google’s own keyword tool (Free to use). Keyword research is the most important part as you will be competition with the other thousands of affiliate publishers there. long tailed keywords with lower bid are worth targetting – but this will take some time as you research and run campagins.

4- Build different landing pages, with different designs and content. Don’t forget to SEO the site as you might get some search engine love too. You can also try single landing page or Multiple page small site like a blog.

5- Try different ad groups with different keywords. Track which group/keywords are working best and focus on it. Test this with different landing pages you have created.

6- Start with zip/email submit offers and you can go towards high paying campagins as you mature.

7- And finally, Dedicate yourself.

Here’s my tip:

High paying offers are very good when it comes to the payout for each sign-up or purchase. Market Leverage offers tons of these offers for the marketers to use, but my opinion is that those may be too difficult if you do not know what you’re doing. This is where the zip/e-mail offers come in. Besides the high paying offers, ML also offers small paying zip/e-mail offers that pay a little, but with some simple work, could add up to a lot. It’s practically quantity over quality here, which may in the end, pay you more.
