Peel Away Ad – FREE!
Yes thats right, its Free. I know that many of you have noticed the Peel Away ad in the corner of all my pages for Market Leverage. Sadly, I actually paid for the script that I am using as its the same one that John Chow had recommended which costs around $30-$40. Aside from spending the money to buy this great script, I realized that there could have been an alternative that I may have overlooked.
I looked around the internet a little bit and came across something called PageEar. Its essentially the same thing and will not cost you a dime. Its also a good form of advertising as its not irritating to a reader unless they hover over it. The fact that it hides away and that it is quite large, will bring more hits and makes it all the more effective.
Here is a link to PageEar’s Home page
If you are considering Peel Away Ads then definitely give that a shot. if you are not as satisfied then shoot me and email and I’ll send you a link to where I purchased mine from. (Its not an affiliate link but I’ll have to find the link for you!). Anyway, hope you liked this short post! Have a great weekend!

Enkay,
Great post! I have been asked several times this week for a free version of the peel-a-way ad. I will direct them to your post from now on.

Thanks Debby! Usually the Peel Away Ad Script is a pay-for script but this is a free version that works just as well!

I’ve already downloaded it, but I’m not so sure that I’m going to install it at this time. Thanks for this though because I was seriously contemplating downloading the paid version that Chow recommended.

Yeah, Im using the one John Chow has but nothing is better than free!

Free is a great price
I wonder how the responsiveness and functionality differ. It looks like the free version uses Flash, and (correct me if I’m wrong) I don’t think the paid version does which could make it more desirable.

The free version does use flash I believe. The paid version doesnt, I paid a lot less than John but I’ll find my link and email it to you so that you don’t have to pay that much.
